J. Cabell Moore is a photojournalist specializing in documentary photography, video, and interactive multimedia. Born in Baltimore, MD in 1988, he studied photojournalism and political science at Ohio University before moving to the former Soviet Republic of Georgia in June 2009 to pursue a career as a freelance journalist.
He has worked as a staff photographer for The Print in Fallston, MD and The Post in Athens, OH, and on assignment for the International Rescue Committee in Tbilisi, Georgia. He has been awarded the Mark of Excellence by the Society of Professional Journalists, and received an Undergraduate Research and Creativity Fund from Ohio University. He is currently working on a long-term project documenting the large population of internally displaced persons in Georgia. |
